ICFR Launch in India & Joint Conference on Financial Sector Regulation & Reforms in Emerging Markets

On Monday 8 February 2010, International Centre for Financial Regulation (ICFR), The Brookings Institution, The Asian Development Bank Institute(ADBI) and the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) held a joint conference on Financial Sector Regulation and Reforms in Emerging Markets in Mumbai, India.

The objective of this conference was to engage high-level academics, policymakers and practitioners in thinking about effective design of regulatory and policy frameworks that will promote financial system development and stability.  The one day conference was followed by drinks reception to mark ICFR’s launch in India.
