ICFR Submits Comment on Volcker Rule Proposals

The ICFR has submitted a comment letter to four US regulatory agencies* in response to their notice of proposed rulemaking, Prohibitions and Restrictions on Proprietary Trading and Certain Interests In, and Relationships With, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds, more commonly referred to as the Volcker Rule. The proposals form part of the Dodd-Frank Act in the United States, and will have extensive structural consequences for banks.
