After-hours Futures Trading
08 Jul 2011
Source: Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx)
Deadline: 8 July 2011
HKEx has published a consultation paper on its proposal to introduce after-hours futures trading. In the proposal, after-hours trading of three futures contracts (HSI futures, HHI futures, and gold futures) will begin 30 minutes after the current market close. This both aligns HKEx’s futures market with other markets, and better synchronises HKEx’s HSI, HHI and gold futures with business days in Europe and the US.
