Assessment of Fees on Large Bank Holding Companies and Nonbank Financial Companies Supervised by the Federal Reserve Board to Cover Expenses of the Financial Research Fund

The Department of the Treasury is issuing a proposed rule to implement Section 155 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which directs the Department to establish by regulation an assessment schedule for bank holding companies with total consolidated assets of $50 billion or greater and nonbank financial companies supervised by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve to collect assessments equal to the total expenses of the Office of Financial Research .
