The IMF, in conjunction with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, is hosting a conference to discuss the need for Macroprudential approaches to managing the overall financial system risks and the implications for public policy. Keynote speakers include Paul Volcker, Chairman of the U.S. President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board and former Chairman of the Federal Reserve System.
