CESR Technical Advice to the European Commission in the context of the MiFID Review – Client Categorisation

As part of its review into the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), the Committee of European Securities Regulators have published a consultation paper on client categorisation. The aim of the paper is to reassess the methods and types of client categorisation brought in as a result of MiFID, looking particularly at the categorisation of local authorities and the tests of knowledge and experience
