Public consultation based on a Green Paper "The EU corporate governance framework", which will be adopted on 5 April 2011. The consultation will focus on three areas: boards of directors, shareholders' engagement and the "comply or explain" approach. About 25 questions will deal with issues such as diversity, executive remuneration, risk management, shareholder cooperation, proxy advisors, minority shareholder protection and the functioning of the corporate governance system.
