ICFR Associates Programme

The ICFR is pleased to announce the creation of two new programmes, the Academic Associates Programme and the Professional Associates Programme. The intention of the Academic Associates Programme is to provide a boost to young academics in the field of financial regulation, raise awareness of the ICFR, and provide a source of research for the ICFR. The Professional Associates Programme is a way for financial professionals interested in financial regulation to get involved in the work of the ICFR. Both programmes aim to assemble a group of individuals from varying backgrounds, geographies, experiences, and academic achievements. The ICFR intends to draw on a wide range of scholars in law, economics, philosophy, and politics as well as technical experts from industry in banking, insurance, asset management, accounting and law.

Associates will become involved in steering groups for research topics and ICFR events.  Research carried out by the Academic Associates in pursuit of our objectives could be published, form the basis for future events, or become short discussion papers. Associates would be encouraged to get involved in writing commentaries published on the ICFR website, in the press, and highlighted in our newsletter.

Appointments are for a one year term renewable once.
